|Creative Images That Illustrate The Artistry of Joliet™|
Timothy Kump (aka Bullet) has always been an artist. After high school Tim continued pursuing a career in art at Joliet Junior College, where he received an Associates in Art degree. As he was preparing to transfer to finish his BFA degree, Tim discovered the graphic arts and decided to complete his degree in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Following positions as a designer at NYC design firms and Connoisseur Magazine, Tim relocated to Chicago where he started Bullet Communications, Inc., his strategic marketing and creative communications business. All along, Tim has pursued his personal fine art interests, from photography, to drawing, and even creating art furniture.
Bullet Fine Art is the forum I use to present my art and photography work. My fine art expresses a unique creative vision which embodies original, bold, colorful and textural compositions. Many of the images presented here were originally published on CityofJoliet.com to showcase the artistry that can be found throughout our community.
My digital photographs are creatively altered using techniques that enhance the aesthetic quality of each image, while adding to the originality of each work. My fine art works are executed using a process called Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay"), a French word that means 'fine spray'. Giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method that merges the use of professional quality large format printers with museum quality, archival pigmented inks, archival papers and canvas. This process ensures that my creative vision is executed without compromise.
